Disturbing news hit the independent media as main players worldwide extend, once again, their warnings of an imminent catastrophe.
One expert even notes that we are experiencing the consequences of “pollution emitted in the 1960s”, which clearly means the worst is yet to come.
Of course, certain governments, interested as they are in finding oil even in natural sanctuaries, will be oblivious or even try to supress the matter.
And then, there’s the other side of the coin.
Who to believe?
My answer, of course, is finding a midpoint. This is not an issue of democracy or social or economical development. It’s about survival, however you want to perceive it.
