It’s time to go! In a few hours, we’ll be driving to the airport in Munich to take an early bird to Rome. We should be arriving there at 8:30 in the morning.
My mom’s so excited she’s almost standing at the door. This whole trip was her idea, actually. Ever since she came to visit us, she’s been longing to see the city where the pope lives. One night, my wife and I just booked the trip and off we go.
I’ll try to post a few pictures while we’re there (if getting online proves painless). In any case, expect the Photo Albums to be updated with what we grab from this lightning flash trip of four days.
